Code of conduct
Metek Group’s Code of Ethics has been established in line with the “RBA (Responsible Business Alliance), formerly known as EICC (Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition) to promote safe working conditions and respectful treatment of employees in the Metek industry and its supply chains, while also considering environmental responsibility and ethical business practices.
A. Labor

Since our founding in 1918, Metek has been committed to developing the possibilities of electroplating, such as zinc plating, and has developed a wide range of surface treatment technologies.
We have expanded our scope to electronic and semiconductor parts for industrial equipment, consumer equipment, aircraft, and automobiles. Especially in the field of surface treatment for electronics, including semiconductors, we have developed many technologies that have become industry standards.
Efforts to Improve Production Efficiency
We have challenged ourselves to improve production efficiency, developed fully automated plating equipment, and promoted the automation of production lines. We have also provided these factory design technologies to users and promoted the sharing of technological assets.
Internationalizing Technology
Internationalizing technology, we have expanded our production bases both domestically and internationally under the philosophy of “providing the right technology at the point of need.” We have also built an information network to meet diverse needs as the Metek Group.
Research on Electroplating Technology
Our company is strengthening its seed-oriented research and development system with the theme of “development of applied technology for electronic devices” based on our unique technology in electroplating (gold, silver, copper, tin, zinc, etc.). From these researches, we have already achieved results in precision PCB boards, LSI heat sink processing, and image sensor application technology.

Aiming to be Thailand’s No. 1 Company!
Since its establishment in October 1994, METEK KITAMURA (Thailand) CO. LTD. has contributed to the industrial equipment, consumer electronics, automotive, electronic components, and semiconductor industries in Thailand through surface treatment. We suffered significant damage from the Thailand floods in October 2011. With the support of Thailand and our local employees, it took time, but we were able to recover. Leveraging that experience, we regularly review our business continuity plan. We will continue to strive towards becoming the No. 1 plating company trusted in Thailand, never forgetting our initial aspirations.

With the development of the electronic device industry, the growth of emerging countries, known as the Global South, has been remarkable. We are constantly gathering information from various sources to respond to the changing times and make proposals that anticipate customer needs.
